- Technical Data: We automatically collect standard server log information, such as your IP address, browser type, device information, and interaction with our website to maintain functionality and security.
2. How We Use Your Information
We strictly use your information to fulfill our business operations and provide you with our Service. This includes:
- Creating and securing your client portal account.
- Sourcing, negotiating, and organizing vehicle offers tailored to your criteria.
- Processing payments for our professional services.
- Sending automated administrative emails, such as new vehicle offer alerts and portal updates.
- Providing customer service, technical support, and soliciting feedback to improve our operations.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We only share your data in the following specific circumstances:
- Dealership Handoff: When you communicate with us and approve a specific vehicle we have negotiated on your behalf, you consent to CarVizors sharing your contact information with that specific selling dealership to process the purchase, finance, and/or delivery of the motor vehicle. Please note: Once your information is transferred to a dealership to facilitate the purchase, that dealership's individual privacy policy will govern their use of your data.
- Third-Party Service Providers: We share necessary data with trusted third parties (such as Stripe for payments, Resend for transactional emails, and database hosting providers) who assist us in operating our business under strict confidentiality agreements.
- Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, debt financing, restructure, or sale of our assets by or with another company, we may need to disclose and transfer all information about you, including personal information, to the successor company.
- Legal Compliance: Where necessary, we may disclose your information to satisfy any applicable laws or regulations, defend ourselves in litigation, enforce our Terms of Service, or respond to a subpoena or court order.
4. Communication & Text Messaging
By providing your phone number, you expressly consent to receive communications from CarVizors via phone calls or text messages to discuss and provide our services.
As a part of our communication with you, we may send you text messages to provide status updates, collaborate on questions during the locate and negotiate process, or for other quick communications necessary to successfully deliver our services. If you prefer that CarVizors avoids the use of text messages and strictly utilizes phone calls or emails, you may make such a request directly to your CarVizors representative at any time.
5. Cookies, Analytics, and "Do Not Track"
We or our third-party service providers may use cookies and other tracking technologies to recognize you across our site, improve your experience, increase security, and measure site usage.
We use third-party services like Google Analytics to improve the performance of our site. You can control cookies through your browser settings. We currently do not respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals, meaning your navigation on our site may be tracked as part of our standard efforts to gather the usage information described above.
